Manufacturing Services
ZAX has full in house solid model CAD, CAM, and CNC machining capability and can provide machining services for precision machining requirements. ZAX design and manufacturing facilities include solid model based software, multiple CNC vertical machining centers, CNC EDM machines, CNC Lathe, precision assembly, RF testing and precision thermal vacuum calibration capabilities. Since our beginnings in the mid 1980's, ZAX has fabricated corrugated feedhorns, patch antennas, mixers, isolators, PIN switches, integrated couplers, noise source housings, calibration targets and precision custom components to customer prints as well as to our own designs. We can also contribute to design efforts to optimize performance and manufacturability of precision components and assemblies.
Testing Services
With an HP 8510B Vector Network Analyzer system with frequency extensions currently up to 110 GHz, as well as test components to facilitate measurements up to 325 GHz, ZAX offers testing services to microwave and millimeter wave customers.
